Outdoor balcony planters come in three primary forms: those that sit on the floor of the balcony, those that are raised, and those that hang from the balcony railings or the balcony ceiling. With these containers, residents can grow anything that doesn’t weigh too much on their balconies.
Planters that sit directly on the floor of the balcony are the most common. These come in the form of wood, plastic, and clay pots in every imaginable shape and size. Raised planters often come in the form of wooden planters on legs with or without casters, metal planters, and tall clay or plastic planters. Then finally, there are the hanging planters.
Hanging planters can be suspended from metal hooks that connect to the railings. They can also be hung from metal wires or woven strings from the ceiling of the balcony.
