I don’t think any pet owner would disagree that their pet is a part of the family. We spoil our pets, sometimes even more than our own children. We provide them with the best food, offer them treats, buy them presents during special occasions and even let them sleep in the bed with us.
There is now a new trend in pet-ownership and that is Pet Portraits. You have professional photos done up of the human family members, so why not include Fido or Fluffy in the family portraits.
To prepare your pet for a portrait session, make sure they are relaxed and clean. Give them a bath and fix them up as much as possible. Perhaps put a pretty scarf around their neck for a splash of color. Give them extra love and treats beforehand and play with them so they spend some of their energy before the photos.
Having a professional portrait of your pet will ensure that you have something to remember them by always and it’s a nice memento to display with all your other family photos.
