Speech therapy games are a great tool when it comes to developing speech and language skills in children (especially in children with conditions such as sensory processing disorder, ADHD and autism). The games in this list are somewhat language-heavy, so they are more appropriate for children aged 5-7 years.
However, even smaller children can still reap the benefits from it if the games are introduced to them in the right manner. Another point to note is that most therapists concur on the fact that one can reap the most benefits from these games when the latter are used in conjunction with a number of other games aimed at developing a child’s social-cognitive skills (e.g., games like Pop Up Pirate, Cootie, Honey Bee Tree, etc.).
