It’s easy to post free classifieds online; several well known sites let you sell items, advertise your services or even buy or sell a home. However, making your ad stand out and get results takes some work. try to make your classified ad short and concise; explain what it is you are selling or offering as clearly as possible. Photographs in an ad can make all the difference; many people simply don’t bother reading classified for sale ads that don’t have photos of the item. Try to keep your ad fresh and posted at the top of the page or list; reposting your ad every few days or so increases its chances of being read. And of course online safety is important; don’t give out your address, bank information or social security number. Most online ad services use a third party email system for security.
