Like any other vehicle, light utility vehicles were created for a singular purpose; in this case, it is to get the right tools to a specific area, usually off the beaten path. With a little bit of care, they can be great for maintenance purposes for any organization.
While they are geared towards off-road use, make sure that the area is not too rough; as they lack the power of larger vehicles they can face bigger problems from terrain. Also, make sure that they are cleaned often; that dirt can create any number of maintenance issues. If possible, make sure that there is someone who can maintain them on staff; most of the maintenance is simple enough and well worth dealing with in-house.
Make sure that the vehicle is well-maintained and it should last a long time, making life easy for those that use them.
