While most veterans who return from active duty face many social and financial problems, it has been observed that Female Veterans have a tough time adjusting to routine civilian life. One of the reasons is that unlike male veterans, the females are less in number, so they do not have enough resources. There is less job available for these veterans, and likewise, there are no support programs for female ex-soldiers who are looking for emotional support. Due to these limited resources, many females develop emotional and psychological problems that threaten their lives. Recently there have been efforts to provide more options to these veterans who can find better job opportunities, community support and help them to transition in the civilian life that they are returning to after many years. These measures will ensure that there is a sound system in place to help all veterans.
