Designing elearning is no small task as the shift involves a great deal of adjustment. Those who are new to this can look to the work of the pioneers. MOOCs, for example, have been providing classes at a massive scale for over a decade. They know what works and what doesn’t. They can tell educators what to do and what to avoid.
Engagement will be different. Physical presence enables things that are virtually impossible in an online setting. However, the opposite is also true. Going digital gives opportunities to try things that is favorable to the platform.
