Britain’s Most Expensive Street

Posted on July 19, 2020July 30, 2020

If you’re shopping for UK luxury property London is home to the exclusive Kensington Palace Gardens, considered Britain’s most expensive street. As the saying goes, if you have to ask how much homes are on this private road, you probably can’t afford one. In fact, homes here cost an average of about $44 million, although one home on the street, owned by a Russian billionaire, is worth well over $200 million. The street is home to several other billionaires, princes and princesses, the Russian embassy and a handful of ambassadors who call it their London home. Often referred to as ‘Millionaire’s Row’ the street was laid out in the middle of the 19th century when this part of the capital was becoming fashionable. And residents here have easy access to the stylish shops and restaurants of Kensington, as well as the open space of Kensington Gardens.
