There are no hard and fast rules on who is and isn’t a pup or what constitutes a pup. Pup is all about molding it into the person you want it to be. If the idea of being a pup or being on all fours gives you a mental or bodily “boner,” you’re probably a puppy.
Not everyone who starts as a puppy stays that way. I’ve known a few folks who started as pups and then realized through their experiences that they’re more like a tiger or a furry and chose to follow those paths rather than stay a puppy.
This is perfectly OK. One of the best aspects of puppy play is that it allows you to connect with your inner self and learn things about yourself that you may not have known or recognized before.
