Established in Canada in the 1950s, Swiss Chalet has become a popular casual dining choice in that country. The menu offerings can vary by location, although the typical Swiss Chalet menu has several signature chicken dishes, including a pot pie, rotisserie chicken, and double chicken leg. Ribs and burgers feature on the menu too, and there are several chicken and ribs combination options, including a half chicken and a half rack. Other items on the menu include several salads, such as a Greek salad, and a selection of sandwiches and wraps. Side dishes can be chosen to accompany any main course, including coleslaw, mixed vegetables, mashed potatoes, and fries. There’s a kid’s menu, along with an adequate selection of drinks and desserts. There are around 200 Swiss Chalet locations, located throughout Canada, some of which offer drive-through ordering and take out instead of dining in.
