Self confident people make having confidence look easy but if you’re not feeling particularly confident it can be hard to change. Following are some ways you can improve self confidence:
• Think of your achievements – make a list of all the things you’ve achieved in your life and that you feel proud of; check it when you’re feeling insecure to remind you of why you should be confident.
• Remember the things you’re good at – keep reminding yourself of your strengths and abilities and don’t focus on the negatives but rather build on your strengths.
• Stay positive – talk yourself up in your own mind; if you constantly have a negative narrative going through your head you’ll never be confident.
• Set some goals and work toward them – these can be simple things but the important thing is to take concrete steps to achieve them – even in the face of obstacles you encounter. When you do your confidence will increase.
